Local family business, operating in the Macarthur for over 30 years, wins!

Campbelltown Frames and Trusses has been offering MWLP students ‘hands on’ workplace learning since 2001 and often takes on two students per week.  This is an excellent contribution to our youth and to our community.

Truss Foreman, Dave Neilson, believes in giving students the chance to sample the workforce.  Students are fully supervised and get involved in making trusses, putting roof packs together, stacking, using staple guns and observing cutting.

Dave is an avid supporter of the MWLP program.  “It’s a good way to assess students and give them the opportunity to sample an occupation before committing to it.  I think all Macarthur businesses should become involved.  Give it a go.  Help our youth to help themselves”, says Dave.
