As educators of young people you are often faced with issues concerning engagement and enhancing classroom learning. As we evolve as a society, so too do teaching attitudes and practices. Learning beyond the classroom has become an integral part of this new attitude and that is why building partnerships with the wider community is so crucial.

Partnering with local businesses and industries as well as community organisations and family groups can assist in improving and enhancing the outcomes for young people. Partnerships can bring further expertise, knowledge and experience into the classroom. It gives students the opportunity to engage with the wider community, experience new things and broaden their horizons. With a new focus this year MWLP is looking at assisting in enhancing and creating sustainable partnerships in our local community.
