Outstanding Business Winner: Breseight Australia
Breseight Australia is committed to integrating part design, new product development and manufacture, using the latest in advanced manufacturing technology – FAST!
Breseight Australia has been established for some 30 years and is a second generation Australian owned company, located in Ingleburn.
Not only is the company highly innovative, they are committed to the youth of Macarthur by offering HSC students, who are studying Metal & Engineering, week-long work placements.
Breseight employee Mel McNair says “It’s a good opportunity to see the calibre of Macarthur’s youth. We get to screen those with potential that will ultimately benefit the company. It’s a win-win situation as the students get to see first-hand, how our company operates.”
Mel adds “The students are placed with Team Leaders and are exposed to assembly, tool making, CNC machining and packing etc. They are also encouraged to ask lots of questions to assess whether this industry is right for them.”
As this month’s outstanding winner, Breseight Australia will receive profiling in the Macarthur Chronicle, one month’s free advertising on C91.3FM, exposure on www.mwlp.com.au and thanks to United Cinemas Narellan, Grand Seating movie tickets.
