Work Placement Information: Bankstown Sports Club

Attendance Details
9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Half hour lunch break. Students MUST phone host on the Monday of the week prior to confirm and to provide their mobile number for text confirmation and for instructions on exact meeting location. Students MUST also complete the online induction on the Monday of the week prior to the placement – failure to comply with these requirements will result in the placement being cancelled.
Student Duties
Observing and assisting chef & kitchen staff with the day to day duties in the kitchen including, meat & vegetable preparation, manual handling, food storage , stock rotation, maintain & cleaning work areas including floors, work benches etc. Students will be cooking under the supervision of a qualified person.
Dress Requirements
Tool kit, full chef’s uniform, closed toe leather non slip shoes.
