Work Placement Information: Blue Haven Pools & Spas

6.30am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday. One hour lunch break. Times may vary depending on job location. Student MUST phone host on the Monday of the week prior to confirm current site address – failure to do so may result in the placement being cancelled.

Observe and assist tradesmen with the day to day activities of the business including learning to read plans, observing excavation work and spray crew, placing down boards, passing tools, unloading of trucks and assisting with pool plumbing.

Long sleeve work top and long workwear pants. Steel capped boots. Hi-vis vest will be supplied. Students to ensure they bring a hat and sunscreen and a spare pair of shoes in wet weather.

STUDENT MUST HAVE WHS WHITE CARD ON THEM AT ALL TIMES DURING WORK PLACEMENT. Students may be required to travel with staff to various sites.
