Work Placement Information: East Hills Hotel

Attendance Details
10.30am – 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Half hour lunch break. Student MUST phone host on the Monday of the week prior to placement to confirm – failure to do so may result in the placement being cancelled.
Student Duties
Observe and assist staff with the day to day activities of the business, including meat and vegetable preparation, salad preparation, dessert preparation; other duties include cleaning, labelling and washing up.
Dress Requirements
Chefs uniform – white jacket with black or chequered pants, apron and safety shoes; student to bring own tools if they have them.
Additional Notes
Hotel is right near East Hills train station; buses run regularly to the station.
