Work Placement Information: Georges Bar & Grill – The Vardis Group

Attendance Details
10.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Half hour lunch break. Student MUST phone host on the Monday of the week prior to the placement to confirm – failure to do so may result in the placement being cancelled.
Student Duties
Observe and assist chef and kitchen staff with the day to day duties in the kitchen including: meat and vegetable preparation. Manual handling: food storage, stock rotation and cleaning work areas including floors and work benches etc.
Dress Requirements
Full chefs uniform (apron and hat), closed in non slip flat shoes, hair tied back, no make up, no jewellery. Student MUST bring tool kit.
