Work Placement Information: Hansen Yuncken

7.00am – 3.00pm Monday to Friday. One hour lunch break. Student MUST phone host on the Monday of the week prior to the placement to confirm – failure to do so may result in the placement being cancelled. Students will be required to complete an online pre-induction process and site induction prior to the placement, as such it is vital to phone the host beforehand to receive this information & provide an email address. Students will need to report to the site office each day.

Observe and assist tradesmen with the day to day activities on site including movement of materials, tool fetching, assisting trades and construction managers, conduct site inspections and assist in the project office. Students may be required to carry out site cleaning.

Hi-Vis work shirt and work pants. Steel capped boots. PPE will be supplied.

STUDENT MUST HAVE WHS WHITE CARD ON THEM AT ALL TIMES DURING WORK PLACEMENT. Students may be required to travel with staff to various sites. Students will be required to complete an online pre-induction process and site induction prior to the placement.
