Work Placement Information: Izy Corp

8.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday. Half hour lunch break. Student MUST phone host on the Monday of the week prior to the placement to confirm current site address – failure to do so may result in the placement being cancelled.

Observe and assist tradesmen with the day to day activities of the business including moving timber, passing tools, helping out in the workshop with unloading loading tools into trucks, assisting trades at each work site and general site cleaning duties.

Casual work wear. Hi-vis shirt. Steel capped boots. PPE will be supplied.

STUDENT MUST HAVE WHS WHITE CARD ON THEM AT ALL TIMES DURING WORK PLACEMENT. Student will be required travel to various sites with staff. It is vital that students contact the week prior to confirm current site address to organise local pick up from nearest Train Station to job.
