Work Placement Information: Joinery by Build A Land

7.00am – 2.30pm Monday to Friday. Half hour lunch break. Student MUST phone host on the Monday of the week prior to the placement to confirm – failure to do so may result in the placement being cancelled. Student can either meet at Kingsgrove factory at 7.00am or can organise to get a lift with host from his house in Condell Park or from Revesby or Bankstown station at 6.30am.

Observe and assist tradesmen with the day to day activities of the business including unloading/loading materials from trucks/utes, sanding, drilling, prepping and general cleaning duties of factory and sites.

Sturdy workwear, long pants, company shirt will be supplied by host. Steel capped boots.

STUDENT MUST HAVE WHS WHITE CARD ON THEM AT ALL TIMES DURING WORK PLACEMENT. Student may be required to travel with staff in vehicle to multiple sites for installations.
