Work Placement Information: Meat and Wine Co. Circular Quay

Attendance Details
10.00am – 5.30pm Tuesday to Saturday. Half hour lunch break. Student MUST phone host on the Tuesday of the week prior to the placement to confirm – failure to do so may result in the placement being cancelled.
Student Duties
Observe and assist staff with day to day activities of the kitchen including meat and vegetable preparation, salad and dessert preparation, stock rotation and movement, labeling and portioning food and ongoing cleaning duties.
Dress Requirements
Full chef’s uniform, safety shoes, tool kit if the student has one, hat and apron.
Additional Notes
Restaurant is in the foyer of the Intercontinental Hotel close to Circular Quay Station, use the entrance on the corner of Phillip and Bridge St.
